Follow the road B470 either to the east or to the west
(depending from where you are coming, see
Traveller's Guide From Nürnberg)
Finding the exit to the camp site:
If you are coming from the west, that is Forchheim:
About 1 km after Tüchersfeld there is a sign
on the right (southern) side of the street indicating
the camp site. Turn right here and you are done.
Caution! In Tüchersfeld itself there is
a sign for a camp site to the north. Ignore this one!
and follow the road (B470) to the east.
If you are coming from the east, that is Pegnitz:
4 km after Pottenstein you will notice the cliffs swinging
back on the left side giving room for a plain area. This is
the camp site. After 300 more meters there is an exit to
the left. Turn left here and you are done.
Caution! There is some kind of camp site in
Pottenstein, too. This is not what you are looking
for! Instead, head for the west.
After the exit a small bridge leads over the river Püttlach
to the camp site. Park your car on the parking lounge and
see the warden to check your registration. The reception
is to be found in the second house seen from the parking
place. The first one sell snacks to hungry travellers only.
After checking in you have to follow a narrow trail on
the southern bank of Püttlach which leads to a small gate.
Having paid the fee should enable you to pass this last
obstacle, too.
The small camp site right behind the primary parking place
is reserved for mere mortals.
Finally, the gate gives way to the LBW area itself.
